The Paddock was a small row of houses adjacent to the river Malago. The location is presently occupied by an Asda superstore. The paddocks can be seen on older maps 1830-1880, but by 1900 the site had become a tabocco factory. See: http://maps.bristol.gov.uk/knowyourplace/ for more details.
