Email dated 18 Mar 2004, containing a Word attachment, which details information on the descendants of Joseph Oakland and Susannah Whittle. The date given (1 March 1849) contradicts that on the marriage certificate of 3 Jan 1849. Also, the location is given as St. Paul's Church, Carlton, yet this church wasn't consecrated until 1885, some 35 years after the marriage date. After re-checking the marriage certificate, I believe it is St. Paul's in George Street, Nottingham. This opened in 1822 as a chapel of ease to St. Mary's, and was demolished in 1923.
